So far ALIEN VS PREDATOR is a successful spin-off. Or at least, it's a far more successful spin-off than ALIEN3 and ALIEN RESURRECTION were at being sequels. Ugh, don't get me started.
AVP R: THE STRAUSE BROTHERS STRIKE BACK! By Thomas J. McLean

The PSP game supporting AVP R is getting good press in Australia From Matt Keller
There has been an odd trend going on over the last year or so, with some big name movies releasing tie-ins exclusively for the PSP. This has always been puzzling – is there a market for these games on Sony’s portable, or is it a case of having to put out something to honour a pre-existing rights agreement (see Roger Corman’s Fantastic Four for an example). We have seen PSP exclusives for Miami Vice, 300 and now 20th Century Fox’s Alien vs. Predator: Requiem. Vivendi has been kind enough to provide us with a test copy of Requiem, and the game is looking to be a step in the right direction for the franchise, particularly after the terrible Predator: Concrete Jungle.
